Poole Town FC Will Change Home Colours in Light of Black Gold Sponsorship

Poole-based property developer, Black Gold Developments, has become the new main Club and Stadium sponsor of Poole Town FC.
Today’s announcement comes just weeks before the new football season starts, with the Club’s first game in the new kit anticipated for the end of September.
In line with the sponsorship deal the first team will play in brand-new home colours. The all-new black and gold playing kit marks an historic occasion for the Club. Poole Town FC has played in red and white for over one hundred years apart from a short spell in the early 1980’s.
The landmark colour change sees Poole Town FC move into a new era. The decision to update the home-kit was not taken lightly. Each Supporters Club member, season ticket holder and board member were invited to feedback on the proposed kit changes. The result was unanimous.
Club Chairman Chris Reeves stated “This is an incredible sponsorship opportunity, the more so coming as it does in the middle of such uncertain times. It is providing a solid financial base for us to face the future with renewed confidence. To reinforce our existing relationship with Black Gold in this way has given everyone at the Club a real boost and massive encouragement to continue working so hard for the Club that means so much to so many”
The Black Gold playing kit is being produced in the UK and will be unveiled online on Monday 7th September at 8pm via Poole Town FC and Black Gold Developments websites and social media channels.

The legacy playing kit will be available to buy through the official club shop (date TBC) and be available to preview on Monday 7th September at 8pm.
